Infrastructure description and endowment: ERRIS

On 28 September 2010 was signed the financing contract for the project: RDI DEVELOPMENT - MULTIDISCIPLINARY SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNOLOGIC RESEARCH INSTITUTE. Contract No. 250/28.09.2010

Through this infrastructure project, was built a Research Institute with 20 laboratories (36 new created spaces) in the Universities Campus. This buiding is equipped at the highest level in renewable energy field and also in the inovative products and processes field. Activity inside the new infrastructure is focused on new materials development, devices and systems with applicability in renewable energy production and their further integration into buildings for increasing the energy efficiency and reducing consumption of raw materials and fuels.
